FAQ

So wait… is this a Conference or a Birthday Party?
It’s kinda a 50th Birthday Party pretending to be a Conference. There will be some speakers and presentations as well as drinks and music, so really it’s up to you to decide. There might be lanyards, so who can say for sure?

How do I get there and what’s the story with parking?
Because our place (aka Lizard Camp) has limited parking for the number of people arriving we cannot accommodate guests parking directly at the party.

We will have two shuttle pickup locations in nearby Forestville. Shuttles will depart from Pick-up #1 at Laguna High School - 7050 Covey Road Forestville, CA 95436 - every 30 minutes (on the hour and half-hour) and stop at Pick-up #2 a the West County Regional Trail entrance - 6690 Front St, Forestville, CA 95436 - a few minutes later on the way to our property at 11335 Hwy 116, Guerneville, CA 95446. See the map below:

If you need to park elsewhere and plan to take a cab or Uber/Lyft to the party we recommend using a local Guerneville taxi company, either R2T2 Taxi at (707)849-6802 or Bill’s Taxi at (707) 869-2177. Uber/Lyft can take a very long time given our remote location.

What if I want to make a whole weekend of it?
That’s a great idea! There are plenty of hotels in the area, here are some we recommend:

The Stavrand - closest 4-star Hotel about 3 minutes away

Dawn Ranch - Downtown Guerneville 4-star resort

AutoCamp - Nearby 3-star hip Airstream and glamping tent hotel

Mine & Farm Inn - Nearby 3-star hotel

West Sonoma Inn - Downtown Guerneville 3-star hotel and spa

Cottages on River Road - Comfortable nearby 2-star cabin hotel

Fairfield Inn & Suites - 2-star Marriot hotel in Sebastopol (15 minutes south of Reeve-Con)

What should I bring?
We will have food and drinks covered, so really just bring yourselves! The pool will be open and swimming is definitely encouraged, so bring swimwear if you are so inclined! Play an instrument? Bring it along, maybe there will be a jam!

What should I wear?
Wear whatever you will be comfortable in! Our property is definitely rural and most of the party will be outside, so footwear that will allow you to walk on grass, dirt, and gravel is a good idea. And although we are currently experiencing a heat wave, a light jacket or sweatshirt may also come in handy.
